Our Branded Social Media Campaigns: A Case Study
Social media is an opportunity for our team to challenge ourselves creativity and give in to quick trends we might not get to pursue when working on client work. Our team enjoys the creative flexibility and novelty each week’s post brings, and have developed some engaging campaigns.
Chat Challenge / Hueman vs. AI
With the onset of genAI in the design space, we were curious how AI tools would fare against our own designers. So far, we have explored 2 different series using genAI.
Chat Challenge takes unused concepts and turns them into a new brand. Using ChatGPT, we generate a brand (including mission, goals, and visual look and feel). Then, we adjust our unused concept to match that, and a new brand is born.
Hueman vs. AI is sort of the opposite. We take an established brand and visual identity, and ask a genAI platform to see what kind of logos they generate based on a description of the brand essence.
5 Shades of Hueman
Inspired by the hue of our name, 5 Shades of Hueman introduces the audience to our team and their “5 shades” (which are answers to personal and professional questions). Team members are encouraged to submit casual and fun pictures of themselves (no more recycling headshots here!) that are overlayed on a gradient template of differing brand colors.
Huemotions
Colors (or maybe even hue’s of them) represent and evoke emotions. This is important in branding, but through this reels series, we explore the emotions behind our main brand colors. We even designed a sub-brand logo for this series.
Hueman 101
Hueman 101 was a series that aimed to take the audience through our 6 core values. This was an easy series to plan for, as the content had been created already. We utilized already written brand pillar statements. For visual direction, we used unused concepts or abstract assets to create something visually unique.
